Latest Kerry apology released

Recently posted to someone's MySpace page:

I do not intend, nor will I allow, those who have taken my words and twisted and distorted them beyond any comprehensible meaning to rule the day here in these days just prior to a very important, nay, momentous election. I do not apologize for my statements so much as I am deeply sorry to any soldier who was too dense to figure out the nuances of my clever quip, which I thoroughly mangled with my ill-chosen, yet nonetheless quite correct, words criticizing the leader of the troops in combat, whom I am very apologetic to, whilst at the same time, I will not back down at any point whatsoever from what I intended to say on that day...
